Adair & Neely Funeral Directors is celebrating 135 years of supporting families across Londonderry and the surrounding area with care, compassion and professionalism. Founded in 1891, the funeral directors has been trusted by generations of local families, providing guidance and support through some of life’s most difficult moments.
While much has changed over the past 135 years, Adair & Neely’s commitment to delivering a personal and professional service remains at the heart of everything the team does. Today, that commitment continues from the company’s new premises at 84 Duke Street in the Waterside area of Londonderry, where improved facilities provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for the families they serve.
The milestone anniversary offers an opportunity to reflect on the relationships that Adair & Neely has built within the local community over more than a century. From supporting families at times of loss to taking an active role in community life, the team has remained dedicated to helping people when they need it most.
As part of its ongoing commitment to the local area, Adair & Neely has also launched the Adair & Neely Community Fund, which will provide financial support to charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and grassroots projects that are making a positive difference across Derry/Londonderry and the surrounding areas. Up to £2,000 is available through the fund.
Funeral Manager Wayne Glenn said:
“Community organisations play a vital role in bringing people together, supporting vulnerable individuals and creating opportunities for local people to thrive. Through this special anniversary initiative, we want to help those groups continue their valuable work and strengthen the communities we are proud to serve.”
