Supporting local projects that make a difference across Derry/Londonderry

As part of its 135th anniversary celebrations, Adair & Neely Funeral Directors has launched the Adair & Neely Community Fund, providing up to £2,000 to support local organisations that are helping to improve lives across Derry/Londonderry and the surrounding area.

The fund has been created to support charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and grassroots projects that make a positive contribution to local communities.

Funding applications are welcomed from projects that align with one or more of four key themes:

  • Health
  • Education
  • Employment Opportunities
  • Poverty and Social Deprivation

The initiative forms part of Adair & Neely’s 135th anniversary celebrations and reflects the team’s desire to give something back to the communities that have supported the funeral directors for generations.

Wayne Glenn said:

“Community organisations play a vital role in bringing people together, supporting vulnerable individuals and creating opportunities for local people to thrive. Through this special anniversary initiative, we want to help those groups continue their valuable work and strengthen the communities we are proud to serve.”

Community groups interested in applying should act quickly, as applications close on Friday 28 August. Successful applicants will be notified in September, with funding awards being presented later in the month.

The Adair & Neely Community Fund is an opportunity to help local projects continue delivering essential services, creating new opportunities and supporting people across the wider community.
